Bounce rate and engagement insights
See bounce rate alongside real time-on-page, measured from active tab time.
Traffic numbers alone do not tell you whether people are reading. The Engagement page now pairs bounce rate with time-on-page, measured only while the tab is visible so background tabs do not inflate it.
- Bounce rate stat on the Engagement page.
- Per-page time-on-page derived from active session heartbeat.
- Heartbeat interval is configurable, and can be disabled entirely.
